Raben Group starts business in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia

At the end of September 2008 Raben Group became a shareholder of a Czech logistics company Setto Spedition, taking up 60% of the company's shares. This way Raben Group, expanding its network in Central and Eastern Europe, entered further markets - of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Setto was established in 1990 and at that time the company employed two people. It developed dynami cally broadening its activity in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Nowadays the com pany employs over 300 people and disposes of 60 000m2 of warehouse space in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Bratislava, Kosice and Zilina. Setto offers its Cus tomers a whole range of logistic services. Its offer includes groupage, full and part-truck transports, rail transports, sea and air freight, warehousing and related services. The services correspond it their entirety with Raben's portfolio offered to its Customers.

The company may also be proud of ISO 9001-2000 Certificate it has since 2005. Setto Spedition has been interested in cooperation with a partner of strong position in Central Europe. Special attention has been paid to financially stable, family-owned and independent companies. Raben Group, following its strategy, looked for a company in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. After a throughout market analysis carried out by both companies they came to a conclusion that an agreement between Setto and Raben Group is the best solution for both as they both care about regional development in this part of Europe.
